Synopsis

The Fits is a coming-of-age drama film that follows an 11-year-old girl named Toni as she joins a dance team in a community center in Cincinnati. As Toni navigates the challenges of fitting in with the older girls on the team, a mysterious outbreak of fainting spells, known as "the fits," begins to affect the dancers.

As Toni tries to understand the cause of the fits and deal with the pressure to perform, she must also confront her own fears and insecurities. The film explores themes of adolescence, identity, and the power of female friendship.
