Synopsis

"The Lighthouse" is a psychological horror film directed by Robert Eggers. The story follows two lighthouse keepers, Thomas Wake and Ephraim Winslow, who are stranded on a remote island due to a storm. As they struggle to maintain their sanity, tensions rise between the two men as they are haunted by their pasts and the supernatural forces that seem to be at play on the island.

As the days pass, Thomas becomes increasingly obsessed with the lighthouse and forbids Ephraim from entering it. Ephraim, on the other hand, begins to experience strange visions and hallucinations that blur the line between reality and madness.
