Synopsis

The Newsroom is a television series that follows the behind-the-scenes drama at a fictional cable news channel called ACN. The show centers around news anchor Will McAvoy, who is known for his moderate views and reluctance to take a strong stance on controversial issues.

However, everything changes when Will's ex-girlfriend, MacKenzie McHale, is hired as the new executive producer of his show. MacKenzie is determined to shake things up and turn the show into a hard-hitting, no-nonsense news program.
