The Sea of Trees

Synopsis

The Sea of Trees is a drama film directed by Gus Van Sant. The story follows Arthur Brennan, played by Matthew McConaughey, who travels to the "Suicide Forest" in Japan to end his life. However, he encounters a Japanese man named Takumi Nakamura, played by Ken Watanabe, who is also contemplating suicide. The two men form an unlikely bond as they navigate through the forest, reflecting on their pasts and finding a new sense of hope.
