The Stork Soundtrack (1988)

Synopsis

At the countryside, in an old farmhouse, live Édouard, the patriarch, his son Philippe, his austere wife, and their little girl, Stéphanie. Their daily routine is suddenly interrupted by the enigmatic Pol, a singer who returns to the village after several years of absence.

Inexorably attracted to the hotel where she sings, Philippe falls under her charm. He spends less and less time at the farm and with his family. Tensions rise. Anne desires a child but fails in her attempts to win back her husband.

Obsessed with her desire for revenge, she withdraws into herself during the day, and becomes a sleepwalker at night. Conflicts between family members reach a climax, but will the arrival of the stork bring a happy resolution?
