Synopsis

The Thing is a science fiction horror film directed by John Carpenter. The story follows a group of researchers in Antarctica who encounter a shape-shifting alien that can imitate any living organism it comes into contact with.

As paranoia and distrust spread among the group, they must figure out who is human and who is the alien before it's too late. The film is known for its suspenseful atmosphere, practical effects, and iconic score.
