Synopsis

When a group of orphaned children are forced to move from their home in London, caretakers Eve and Jean bring everyone to the desolate and eerie British countryside.

40 years after Arthur Kipps left, a new group arrives in the now abandoned Eel Marsh House; an odd but seemingly safe location.

It isn't long before Eve starts to sense that this house is not what it appears to be as the children in her care begin to disappear.

As their house of safety becomes a house of horrors, Eve enlists the help of a handsome pilot to help investigate what is happening.

Eve soon discovers that it may not be a coincidence that she has come to reside in the house inhabited by the Woman in Black.

10/10

The musical compositions in the film effectively build tension and suspense, enhancing the sense of foreboding as the story unfolds and the mystery of the Eel Marsh House unravels.

Paul King
7/10

The use of subtle and chilling sound effects in the soundtrack creates a sense of unease and suspense, keeping the audience on edge throughout the movie.

Robert Allen
1/10

Additionally, I felt that the soundtrack did not effectively enhance the emotional depth of the story or the characters. The music seemed disconnected from the on-screen events, failing to evoke any real sense of fear or unease. It missed the opportunity to elevate key moments and instead felt like background noise that did not leave a lasting impact.

Amanda Roberts
10/10

The emotional depth and haunting melodies of the soundtrack beautifully complement the themes of loss, fear, and supernatural presence in the film, adding an extra layer of intensity to the narrative and enhancing the overall impact of the story.
