Synopsis

"Unbound" is an allegorical short film, set in Japan at the turn of the century. A young woman, Kitsune, works in a mysterious silk factory in order to save her family stranded by her. She is soon involved in an unsettling metamorphosis as her body is transformed into a silkworm, becoming the merchandise the factory sells.
