Synopsis

War & Peace

War & Peace is a novel by the Russian author Leo Tolstoy. It is considered one of the greatest works of world literature. The novel tells the story of five aristocratic families during the Napoleonic Wars in Russia.

The main characters are Pierre Bezukhov, Prince Andrei Bolkonsky, and Natasha Rostova. Pierre is a socially awkward but kind-hearted man who inherits a fortune and struggles to find meaning in life.
