Synopsis

Welcome Home, Roxy Carmichael is a 1990 American comedy-drama film directed by Jim Abrahams. The film follows the story of a small town in Ohio preparing for the return of Roxy Carmichael, a famous actress who grew up in the town but left years ago.

As the town gets ready for Roxy's arrival, a teenage girl named Dinky Bossetti becomes obsessed with the idea that Roxy is her real mother. Dinky struggles with her identity and her place in the world, and she sees Roxy's return as a chance to finally find some answers.
