This Netflix release follows the on-again/off-again relationship between teenagers Tyler and Ali. Also involved is Holly.
At a party Tyler breaks up with girlfriend Ali because he found out about a hook-up she had before they met. After the breakup he spends the night with Holly. In the morning light, Ali texts an apology to Tyler, meets him face-to-face and both promise to keep no more secrets. Ali returns and all seems to be allright again. But Holly won't let go: she reads more into her one-night-stand with Tyler than he does (or she should) and won't be just a 'rebound girlfriend'. First she transfers to the high school where Tyler and Ali attend.
As Holly lets her intentions become known to Tyler, he tries to disengage but that only increases Holly's obsession. "Don't Ignore Me" Holly texts Tyler who continues ignoring her.
When Tyler learns about Holly's background, the extent of her obsessive behavior justifiably scares him. And Holly lives up to her background: she tells Ali about her sexual encounter with Tyler, files a sexual assault charge against him which results in his suspension from school, takes Ali (who she sees as her competition) hostage, in general creates mayhem. The film ends like it begins with a voice-over from Tyler.
