Sinopsis

Excalibur

El mito del Rey Arturo (Nigel Terry) llevado una vez más a la pantalla. Uthur Pendragon (Gabriel Byrne) recibe la espada mística Excalibur por parte del mago Merlín. A su muerte, Uthur entierra la espada en una piedra, y el próximo hombre que pueda sacarla será el Rey de Inglaterra. Varios años después, Arthur, el hijo bastardo de Uthur, saca Excalibur y se convierte en Rey. Guiado por Merlín, Arthur se casa con Guenevere (Cherie Lunghi) y reúne a los Caballeros de la Mesa Redonda. La malvada media hermana de Arthur, Morgana (Dame Helen Mirren), engendra un hijo con él, que podría resultar ser su perdición.
