Sinossi
In New Salem, la studentessa di liceo di classe alta e aspirante scrittrice Aubrey Fleming ha appena smesso le lezioni di pianoforte per dedicarsi alla scrittura. Quando il corpo mutilato della sua compagna di scuola scomparsa Jennifer Toland viene trovato, i locali piangono lo studente mentre la polizia insegue l'assassino.
Dopo una partita di calcio, Aubrey viene rapita e poi mutilata dal serial killer. Un paio di settimane dopo, Aubrey viene trovata incosciente in una strada solitaria e portata in ospedale con mano e piede mozzati nello stesso modus operandi con cui è stata mutilata Jennifer.
Quando si sveglia, racconta di essere la spogliarellista Dakota Moss e che sua madre tossicodipendente ha avuto un'overdose e è morta.
