Synopsis

Über die Grenze is a German film that tells the story of two brothers, Max and Lukas, who live on opposite sides of the border between Germany and Poland. Max is a successful businessman in Germany, while Lukas struggles to make ends meet in Poland.

One day, Lukas gets into trouble with a local gang and is forced to flee to Germany to seek help from his brother. Max reluctantly agrees to help Lukas, but their relationship is strained due to their past conflicts and differences in lifestyle.

As they navigate the challenges of crossing the border and evading the gang members, Max and Lukas must confront their own prejudices and learn to trust each other in order to survive. The film explores themes of family, loyalty, and the impact of borders on personal relationships.
