Once upon a time in ancient China, there was a legend about a wise old man who lived in a small village. The villagers respected him for his knowledge and wisdom.
One day, a young boy decided to test the old man's wisdom. He caught a bird and held it in his hands, then asked the old man if the bird was alive or dead. The old man thought for a moment and replied, "The answer is in your hands."
The young boy was puzzled by the old man's response. He thought that if he said the bird was alive, the old man would crush it to prove him wrong. And if he said the bird was dead, the old man would let it fly away to prove him wrong.
Realizing the lesson the old man was trying to teach him, the young boy released the bird and learned that the power to control its fate was in his own hands.
