Synopsis

Once upon a time, in a small village in Hungary, there lived a young woman named Anna. She was known as "A legényanya", which means "the bachelor girl" in Hungarian. Anna was different from the other girls in the village - she preferred to wear pants instead of dresses, she loved to work in the fields, and she was skilled at hunting and fishing.

Despite her unconventional ways, Anna was respected by the villagers for her hard work and independence. She lived alone in a small cottage on the outskirts of the village, and she was content with her solitary life. However, everything changed when a handsome young man named Miklos came to the village.

Miklos was immediately drawn to Anna and was determined to win her heart. He tried to court her in the traditional way, bringing her flowers and gifts, but Anna was not interested. She told him that she was happy on her own and did not need a man in her life.

Undeterred, Miklos continued to pursue Anna, showing her kindness and respect. Slowly, Anna began to see him in a new light and realized that she had feelings for him too. They soon fell in love and were married in a simple ceremony in the village church.

Anna's transformation from "the bachelor girl" to a loving wife surprised the villagers, but they were happy for her. She and Miklos lived happily ever after, proving that sometimes love can change even the most independent hearts.
