The blend of hip-hop, R&B, and soul music in the soundtrack creates a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere, adding layers of richness to the narrative. The music not only sets the tone for each episode but also serves as a powerful storytelling tool, amplifying the impact of key moments and dialogue exchanges.

The lack of diversity in the music choices was disappointing, as it failed to reflect the rich cultural background of the characters and the setting of Los Angeles. I was hoping for a more eclectic and vibrant soundtrack that would better complement the themes of race, class, and identity explored in the show.
