Call This a Cry for Help Soundtrack (2007)

Synopsis

The year is 1999. Cole is a shallow boy soaking up his last days of summer. His best friend Seth has recently returned from being away for a month and Cole just dyed his hair. Cole has what he thinks he should make him happy, but he doesn't. Trey, the local music hero, suggests that Cole start a band with Seth. Cole takes the idea to heart and forms a band with Seth and Seth's neighbor Fletch. All he needs is a bassist. Seth's friend Audrey suggests that Seth's stepsister, Geri, join the band. Geri agrees and the band is complete. But an accident forces Fletch to leave the band. Though the gang fades, Cole finds a friend in Geri. They are both unhappy and find comfort in talking to each other. But Cole's problems with Seth and problems with Geri's boyfriend further complicate things for both of them. Cole must face his identity crisis and find out if he can find himself before the world ends on January 1, 2000.
