Synopsis

Camp X-Ray is a drama film that follows a young woman named Amy Cole who joins the military and is assigned to Guantanamo Bay, where she becomes a guard at the detention camp.

Amy struggles with the harsh realities of her job as she forms an unlikely friendship with one of the detainees, a man named Ali who has been imprisoned for eight years.

As Amy and Ali bond over their shared experiences of isolation and loneliness, they both begin to question the morality of the situation and the treatment of the detainees.

The film explores themes of empathy, human connection, and the complexities of the war on terror.

Ultimately, Camp X-Ray challenges viewers to confront their own beliefs and prejudices, while also highlighting the humanity that exists even in the most dehumanizing of circumstances.
