Synopsis

The impact of a selfless deed of benevolence back in 1993 in the small town of Trebinje right in the middle of the raging Bosnian war still echoes years later, as three diverse stories of men and their families are inextricably intertwined.

As a result, in the present, in 2005, by a twist of fate and a string of dramatic and totally unforeseen incidents will be confirmed that the dead are by no means forgotten, as the lives of five people still pivot around that act of heroism.

It's been already twelve years later, and all those directly affected by that dreadful episode battle with the consequences, in need to tie up the loose ends.

The war may be over, however, not for everyone.
