Synopsis

Deliver Us from Evil is a movie set in New York, where Police Officer Ralph Sarchie and his partner Butler are investigating a series of bizarre crimes in the Bronx.

They are looking into the death of a baby in an alley, the beating of a soldier's wife by her husband, and a mother throwing her son into a lion enclosure at the zoo.

During their investigation, Sarchie sees a strange man painting the wall of the lion's enclosure, who later turns out to be Mick Santino, a former platoon mate of Jimmy, the soldier who beat his wife.

The case starts to affect Sarchie's personal life, especially his relationship with his wife Jennifer and daughter Christina.

Despite being a Catholic who has lost his faith, Sarchie is contacted by Father Mendoza, who informs him that Santino and Jane are possessed by demons.

Initially skeptical, Sarchie eventually teams up with the priest to exorcise Santino and save his family from the demonic forces at play.
