Synopsis

Dot the I is a story about Carmen, a beautiful Spanish woman with a tendency to lose her temper at the drop of a hat, who is about to be married to Barnaby, a caring, wealthy, but slightly boring Englishman.

While out with friends on her 'hen night' she encounters a stranger who suddenly sparks a passion that has been sleeping within her.

As her wedding date approaches, she finds herself struggling to put this newcomer out of her mind, but his effect on her keeps growing stronger.

What is it that he sees in her, and why does she feel like she's being pushed inevitably into his arms?

The soundtrack of Dot the I missed an opportunity to use music as a powerful storytelling tool to convey the cultural clash and internal struggle faced by Carmen, a Spanish woman, torn between her traditional upbringing and newfound desires. The music fails to add a layer of authenticity and depth to the narrative, leaving the audience with a sense of disconnect from the characters and their experiences.

The musical choices in the film often feel generic and uninspired, lacking the depth and complexity needed to enhance the storytelling and character development. The lack of a distinctive musical identity hinders the audience's ability to fully immerse themselves in Carmen's emotional journey.
