Synopsis

Doug Funnie is an 11-year-old boy who keeps a journal and dreams of superheroes. Accompanied by his canine pal Porkchop, his best friend Skeeter and his secret love Patti Mayonnaise, Doug embarks on a multitude of adventures, often thwarting the plots of the local bully, Roger Klotz. Doug ultimately succeeds in life in some wonderful and unexpected ways. He often imagines how one of his superhero alter egos would solve the problem, using wits instead of fists. This contemporary coming-of-age cartoon introduces the kind of social and emotional challenges faced by all children, and treats the situations humorously, to make it relevant to everyone.
