"Dumplin'" is a coming-of-age film that follows the story of Willowdean Dickson, a plus-size teenager who enters a beauty pageant as a form of protest against the traditional standards of beauty. Despite facing criticism and doubt from those around her, Willowdean, also known as Dumplin', learns to embrace her own beauty and self-confidence. Along the way, she forms unexpected friendships and discovers the importance of staying true to herself. Through her journey, Willowdean inspires others to break free from societal norms and embrace their individuality.
