Eye in the Sky is a film that follows British Colonel Katherine Powell (Dame Helen Mirren) as she works with her American counterparts and the Kenyan military to launch an operation to capture terrorists in East Africa.
The operation aims to capture the Number 2, 3, and 5 terrorists on the American list of most wanted terrorists, including British nationals Susan Helen Danford, now known as Ayesha Al-Hady (Lex King), her husband, and a recently radicalized young man from the U.K.
When the group suddenly moves to a new location, Powell considers switching to a kill mission. This decision sparks a debate among those in charge, including Lieutenant General Frank Benson (Alan Rickman) in London, and Lieutenant Steve Watts (Aaron Paul) flying the U.S. drone above Nairobi.
Complicating matters is the presence of a young girl in the "kill zone" selling bread. The question arises: do they proceed with the mission, knowing there will be collateral damage?
