Synopsis

An epic of small towns and highways, JOURNEYMAN follows the adventures of 21-year-old Anna as she travels an America scarred by the events of September 11 in search of her long lost father. Along the way, she meets a wide variety of characters, from a young boy to an ex-soldier to her would-be step-sister, many of whom have themselves met and known Anna's father, been affected by him. And through them she learns who he is, and perhaps who she is as well. It is a movie of tangents, of stories within stories. And Anna's adventures, some hilarious, some tragic, some terrifying, expose her true nature, and perhaps the true nature of the country itself.
