Synopsis

Kids Return is a Japanese film directed by Takeshi Kitano. The story follows two high school friends, Masaru and Shinji, who are both delinquents and have no clear direction in life.

After a series of events, Masaru decides to quit boxing and pursue a career in the yakuza, while Shinji becomes a professional boxer. However, their paths diverge as Masaru gets involved in criminal activities and Shinji rises to fame in the boxing world.

As the two friends drift apart, they both realize that their choices have consequences. Kids Return explores themes of friendship, loyalty, and the struggles of finding one's place in the world.
