Synopsis

Love Jacked is a romantic comedy film that follows the story of Maya, a young woman who is about to inherit her father's African art gallery in Toronto. However, she is feeling pressured to settle down and get married by her traditional father.

Desperate to avoid an arranged marriage, Maya decides to stage a fake engagement with a stranger named Malcolm, who she meets in a small South African town. However, their plan takes an unexpected turn when Malcolm's father sees through their ruse and demands that they have a traditional African wedding.

As Maya and Malcolm navigate their fake relationship and cultural differences, they begin to develop real feelings for each other. Will they be able to overcome their obstacles and find true love, or will their deception tear them apart?
