Synopsis

Marc Benheimer, an introverted 17-year-old boy, feels like he doesn't belong. Growing up in the emotional wasteland of his family, relief comes from a pair of headphones and music. When his controlling father brings home a limited edition grand piano that's to be looked at and not touched, Marc yields to temptation. What he discovers is more than just the feel of ivory against his fingers and a hidden talent - he finds the strength to shake his family from their dysfunctional slumber. Nuclear Family weaves themes of belonging, artistic passion, and the importance of family into a modern satire of upper class lifestyle in America.
