Synopsis

Every year in India, an estimated 125000 children use the railways to runaway from home for various reasons. While some of them are returned home others survive around platforms enduring a life of abuse, sexual abuse, substance abuse, drug abuse, crime and violence. Railway Children explores the underbelly of this world through the eyes of 12 year old Raju.
