Provincial police officer Franz Eberhofer is exposed to new, nerve-wracking pressures: He is "transferred to Munich as a penalty". For him, that means shared accommodation with his idiosyncratic buddy Rudi and his adversary Thin Lizzy as boss. No wonder Franz wants to go back to Niederkaltenkirchen. The greatest challenge awaits him there: Karl-Heinz Fleischmann, formerly the pimply "Fleischi" and now a successful businessman, has reappeared and is getting to work on his Susi. This time there is no way out: Franz owes his eternal on-off girlfriend the long overdue marriage proposal. Luckily, a woman's corpse is soon found in dad's trunk, which leads Eberhofer back home and to grandma's cooking pots. Franz does the clarification as casually as ever, he better lets Rudi try the laxative effect of sauerkraut, but when it comes to carrying out a proper marriage proposal to Susi, he reaches his limits.
