Synopsis

Second Skin

When we fall in love, we gamble. And it's a game too intimate to easily accept failure. Elena knows that the cooling off in her marriage is not temporary. Alberto, her husband, a young and prestigious aeronautical engineer, has just opened a new door and seems determined to cross it with someone who is not her. Alberto doesn't intend to pretend, he's simply disoriented. He loves his wife and son, but he senses that the passion he feels for Diego is more than just desire. Diego, a traumatologist at a private clinic, is a man without double standards or prejudices who dives headfirst into the pool of love, risking his emotional and professional stability, as his boss and good friend, Eva, warns him. Deceptions, scenes of pain, and distrust grow, coming between the three lovers. Confrontation is inevitable, and the breakup accelerates. But Elena is not willing to give in without a fight. After assessing the situation, she tightens her muscles, tastes other embraces, and reaffirms her feelings. Without wasting a minute, she puts her piece back on the board. And Alberto struggles between the two faces of love.

Additionally, I felt that the overall composition of the soundtrack was inconsistent and disjointed. The transitions between tracks felt abrupt and disjointed, which disrupted the flow of the narrative. This inconsistency made it challenging to fully immerse myself in the film's atmosphere and detracted from the viewing experience.
