Synopsis

Shimla Mirchi is a Bollywood romantic comedy film directed by Ramesh Sippy. The story revolves around a young man named Ayan, played by Rajkummar Rao, who falls in love with a woman named Naina, played by Rakul Preet Singh. However, Ayan struggles to express his feelings to Naina, so he decides to write her a love letter.

One day, Ayan accidentally sends the love letter to Naina's mother, Rukmini, played by Hema Malini. Rukmini, who is a single mother, mistakes the letter as a proposal for her and decides to meet Ayan. Ayan, caught in a web of confusion, decides to go along with the misunderstanding to spend time with Naina.
