Smokey and the Bandit II is a 1980 American action comedy film directed by Hal Needham and starring Burt Reynolds, Sally Field, and Jackie Gleason. It is the sequel to the 1977 film Smokey and the Bandit.
The film follows the adventures of Bo "Bandit" Darville and Cledus "Snowman" Snow as they are once again hired to transport a large shipment of beer across state lines. This time, they are joined by a runaway bride named Carrie, played by Sally Field.
Things get complicated when Sheriff Buford T. Justice, played by Jackie Gleason, is hot on their trail once again. Justice is determined to catch the Bandit and bring him to justice.
