Strapped is a stunningly photographed drama from San Francisco-based Joseph Graham. The story follows a cynical hustler who is propelled into a series of strange and life-changing encounters after a routine trick at a man's apartment.
The young man, tall and lanky with unruly dark hair, works as an attractive prostitute - handsome in body, amiable in personality, and efficient in sex. He's just out to make a buck, one guy at a time.
However, one stormy night, he finds himself lost in a maze-like apartment building, leading to a different perspective on himself. His unexpected odyssey includes encounters with a beefy but timid man, a "straight" guy with issues, a cocaine-fueled queen, an older man in a leaky attic apartment, and a lonely young man seeking connection.
Sex is the commonality in these encounters, but they lead to raw, unguarded emotions for all involved, even the hustler. Strapped is a sad, funny, sexy, and touching journey into understanding for one young man.
