Sweet Country is a 2017 Australian film directed by Warwick Thornton. The movie stars Sam Neill and Bryan Brown in leading roles.

The story is set in the 1920s in the Northern Territory of Australia and follows an Aboriginal man named Sam, who goes on the run after killing a white man in self-defense. As he tries to evade capture, he is helped by a kind-hearted preacher named Fred Smith, played by Sam Neill.
