Synopsis

Tangled is a 2010 American 3D computer-animated musical adventure film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The film tells the story of a lost, young princess with magical long blonde hair who yearns to leave her secluded tower. Against her mother's wishes, she enlists the help of a wanted criminal to take her on a journey to see the floating lanterns on her birthday.

The film was directed by Nathan Greno and Byron Howard, and features the voices of Mandy Moore, Zachary Levi, and Donna Murphy. Tangled is loosely based on the German fairy tale "Rapunzel" and is the 50th animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series.

Tangled received critical acclaim for its animation, music, and voice acting. It was also a commercial success, grossing over $592 million worldwide. The film's success led to a television series, a short film, and a Broadway musical adaptation.
