Chu-Ko Liang plays Wang Fu Gui, the 18th generation master of Baoping Temple. Despite his auspicious name, Wang is actually a hopeless gambler who never wins. After going broke, he moves south hoping to overwhelm his wealthy brother-in-law (Namewee), but because he wants life, his brother-in-law has a stroke. However, Wang's luck takes another turn when he meets the ghost Lin Qing Xia (Amber An), a famous singer who died 30 years ago. Wang uses Qing Xia's powers to help others, earning him a reputation as a living deity. Meanwhile, Qing Xia wants Wang to help settle her grudge.
