Synopsis

The Client is a legal thriller novel written by John Grisham. The story follows an eleven-year-old boy named Mark Sway who witnesses the suicide of a lawyer. Before the lawyer dies, he reveals to Mark the location of the body of a murdered senator and the identity of the killer.

Mark becomes the target of both the FBI and the mafia as they try to get him to reveal what he knows. He hires a lawyer named Reggie Love to protect him and help him navigate the dangerous situation he finds himself in.

The novel explores themes of justice, loyalty, and the power dynamics between individuals and institutions. It is a gripping tale of suspense and intrigue that keeps readers on the edge of their seats until the very end.
