The Lesson
In a small town, a group of students are taught a valuable lesson by their teacher.
One day, the teacher brings in a large glass jar and fills it with rocks until it's full.
He then asks the students if the jar is full, to which they all agree.
The teacher then adds pebbles to the jar, which fill the spaces between the rocks.
He asks the students again if the jar is full, and they nod in agreement.
Finally, the teacher pours sand into the jar, filling up the remaining space.
He asks the students once more if the jar is full, and they all agree.
The teacher explains that the rocks represent the most important things in life, such as family and health.
The pebbles represent other important things, like work and friendships.
The sand represents the small stuff, like material possessions.
The lesson the teacher imparts is that if you fill your life with the small stuff first, you won't have room for the important things.
It's important to prioritize what truly matters in life and not get caught up in trivial matters.
