It all started with "Black Friday", a massacre on September 8, 1978 at the hands of the Shah's police. Official pronouncements put the death toll at 200, but the next day people in Tehran witnessed thousands of bodies being carried to the Behast Zahra cemetery. However, even this was not the full scope of the tragedy. As the families continued to search for their relatives, they realized how many were missing. During the following months the massacres continued, disappearing many more miles, until February 11, 1979, the day of the victory of the Revolution. Naderi's film follows this search for the missing, through which the terrible truth is gradually revealed. The film is not only a documentary, but also a document of a horrible crime.
