Synopsis

The Smell of Us is a French drama film directed by Larry Clark, released in 2014. The film follows a group of young skateboarders in Paris who spend their days skating, drinking, and getting high.

The main character, Math, is a troubled teenager who becomes involved in a toxic relationship with a girl named Marie. As their relationship becomes increasingly destructive, Math finds himself drawn to a mysterious older man named JP.

The film explores themes of youth, rebellion, and self-destruction as the characters navigate their way through the gritty streets of Paris. The raw and unflinching portrayal of teenage life in the city is both captivating and disturbing.

As Math and his friends spiral further into a world of drugs and violence, they must confront the consequences of their actions and decide what kind of future they want for themselves.
