Synopsis

The Words

In the movie The Words, a struggling writer named Rory Jansen discovers a lost manuscript and decides to publish it as his own. The book becomes a huge success, but Rory soon faces the consequences of his actions when the real author confronts him.

As Rory's life begins to unravel, he must come to terms with the choices he has made and the impact they have had on those around him. The film explores themes of plagiarism, guilt, and the price of fame.

Through a series of flashbacks, viewers are taken on a journey through Rory's past and the events that led him to commit such a deceitful act. The movie raises questions about the nature of creativity and the lengths people will go to in order to achieve success.

Ultimately, The Words serves as a cautionary tale about the importance of honesty and integrity in both art and life.
