Synopsis

The Way We Are

In a small town called Willow Creek, two best friends, Sarah and Emily, navigate the ups and downs of high school life. Sarah is the popular cheerleader who seems to have it all, while Emily is the quiet bookworm who prefers to stay out of the spotlight.

Despite their differences, the two girls have been inseparable since they were kids. But when a new student, Jake, arrives at their school, their friendship is put to the test. Jake is charming and mysterious, and both Sarah and Emily find themselves drawn to him.

As they each navigate their own feelings for Jake, Sarah and Emily must also confront their own insecurities and fears. Will their friendship survive the drama and jealousy that comes with teenage love?

The Way We Are is a heartwarming story about friendship, love, and growing up in a small town where everyone knows your name.
