"A Few Days with Me" tells the story of Martial, whose mother owns a chain of supermarkets. After spending time in a mental hospital due to his indolence, he is sent to inspect one of the supermarkets in hopes of improving his condition.
At the supermarket, Martial discovers that the manager has taken a large loan of money belonging to the firm. Instead of losing his job, a friendship develops between the manager and Martial, who helps remit the debt.
A sexual relationship begins between Francine and Martial, with no jealousy from her boyfriend Fernand. However, Martial suddenly disappears when called to his mother's sickbed.
Francine takes a job as a waitress, unaware that the owner of the bar will force her to provide sexual services to customers. To save Francine, Fernand kills the owner, with Martial as the only witness.
Martial urges Fernand to run to avoid prison, offering to take the blame and return to the hospital. Francine, who saw Fernand's actions, comes to see him as an older brother after the sacrifice they made together.
This double sacrifice changes Francine's emotions, leading her to part ways with Fernand with a newfound understanding and bond.
