Alba Soundtrack (2016)
Synopsis
Alba, 11, spends her days in silence. She loves small animals. She has learned to cope with her mother's illness by helping her use the bathroom. Alba plays quietly so that her mother can rest during the day. One night, Alba's mother gets worse and she has to be taken to the hospital. With no one else to take care of her, Ella Alba is sent to live with her father, whom she has not seen since she was three years old. Living with her father is almost unbearable. Shame, her first kiss, visits to her mother in the hospital, Edgar's tender efforts to get close to her, and her bullying at school; These are some of the experiences that mark Alba's path towards puberty and self-acceptance.
