Synopsis

Bates Motel is a contemporary prequel to the genre-defining film Psycho, giving viewers an intimate portrayal of how Norman Bates' psyche unravels through his teenage years. After the tragic death of his father, Norman and his mother, Norma, move to an idyllic coastal town to start anew. However, as Norman grows closer to his mother, their relationship becomes increasingly complex and twisted.
