Synopsis

Makino Tsukushi, coming from a humble family of reduced income, feels out place at Eitoku Gakuen, a school largely attended by the progeny of the most rich and powerful people of the country, so she's determined to draw as little attention to herself as possible and pass her high school days without incident. She's specially cautious of staying out of the way of the F4, a group made up by the four richest boys in school and that rules over the entire student body by intimidation and bullying.

However, when her one friend at school manages to draw the ire of the leader of the F4, Domyoji Tsukasa, Makino jumps in to defend her friend and confronts him. By doing so, she not only becomes the newest target of Tsukasa's anger, but also, and unexpectedly, the focus of his interest. This, just as Makino was starting to have feelings for the enigmatic Hanazawa Rui, another member of the F4 and close friend to Tsukasa, marks the end of her quiet and untroubled days and turns her life into the sort of hectic mess she was trying to avoid.

I found the soundtrack of Boys Over Flowers to be quite disappointing and underwhelming.

Joseph Clark
2/10

The music failed to capture the emotional depth and intensity of the characters' struggles and conflicts.

Sarah Jackson
3/10

The lack of variety in the songs made the listening experience monotonous and uninspiring.

Thomas Adams
6/10

On the other hand, some tracks in the soundtrack felt repetitive and predictable, lacking originality and failing to bring out the depth of the characters' emotions. The music at times felt overused, diminishing the impact of certain key moments in the series and making the overall listening experience less engaging.

Kenneth Parker

I appreciate how the soundtrack of Boys Over Flowers evolves along with Makino's character development. From moments of heartbreak to triumph, the music mirrors Makino's growth and adds depth to the storytelling.

Richard Lewis

I was hoping for a soundtrack that could enhance the storytelling and bring out the complexities of the relationships in the series, but unfortunately, it fell short in that aspect.

The soundtrack of Boys Over Flowers perfectly captures the emotional rollercoaster of the characters, especially Makino Tsukushi. The music enhances the tension and drama of the storyline, immersing the audience in the high school setting and the conflicts within the F4 group.

Overall, I believe that the soundtrack of Boys Over Flowers missed the opportunity to elevate the viewing experience and connect with the audience on a deeper level.

The music in Boys Over Flowers effectively conveys the contrast between Makino's humble background and the extravagant world of Eitoku Gakuen. The use of different instruments and melodies helps to underscore the social divide and Makino's internal struggles.
