Synopsis
Quarantine. Isolation. Flu. Words that haunt all Americans, but for radio talk show host Johnny Skelton (Michael Mitton) they have become his gospel. With the World Health Organization declaring a global flu pandemic, and his husband Dr. Matt Dodds (Colm Hill) fighting the flu at its epicenter, Johnny's increasingly paranoid views find him at odds with his devoted listeners. In a desperate bid to stave off infection, Johnny goes to extreme lengths to keep the outside world away. As time drags on, Johnny slowly discovers that turning his back on humanity has unintended consequences - Because in these dangerous and uncertain times, humanity must band together and rise above for the common good. And people like Johnny..? Well, they may protect themselves from getting physically sick, but they open themselves up to an even more insidious ailment - A disease that will never have a vaccine - Because this sickness isn't spread through the air - You can't catch it from anybody - You give it to yourself. And once you have it, you're on your own. It's a disease called fear and selfishness.
