Synopsis

Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer follows the adventures of Rainbow Brite and her magical horse, Starlite, as they try to stop an evil princess and her underlings from taking over the planet Spectra.

When Rainbow Brite meets a new acquaintance named Krys, they are introduced to Orin, who urges them to work together to defeat the princess. Orin explains that they can only defeat her by combining their powers against her.

However, their mission is hindered by the sinister Murky Dismal and his bumbling assistant, Lurky, who are reveling in the new gloom created by the darkening of Spectra. They also attempt to steal Rainbow's magical color belt.
